Clayton Baum '87

The Fraternity has always been an important part of Clayton’s life. As an undergraduate, Clayton held several cabinet positions and served as Chapter Vice President. Like many Sig Eps he was also a member of the Traditions Committee. The leadership experience and fundamentals learned at this time were a back bone to his future success and involvement.

His post-graduation career started with the opportunity to work for the fraternity as a Regional Director in the Northeast. Since then he has spent more than 28 years with many leading Consumer Package Goods organizations in both Sales and Marketing.

Clayton has held multiple roles with Gallo, Remy Cointreau, Colgate Palmolive, and Catalina Marketing. He currently is in an Executive Management role as Vice President of Media Sales for Catalina.

He has remained active with the community and fraternity. He serves as a parish ministry leader and is involved with the Knights of Columbus. He supported the Arizona Beta Housing Committee by getting other alumni to be involved and helping drive fundraising.

He’s been happily married to Joie for 22 years and is the proud father of their daughter Avery, 11.

Clayton notes, “The Fraternity has brought me some of my closest friends and relationships. These individuals and the grounding principles of the Fraternity have been an instrumental foundation of the many good things that have happened in my life and I am certain in my years to come.”
