Dana Bradford ’87

Dana joined Sigma Phi Epsilon in 1984 and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSBA in 1987.

Brother Bradford currently serves as CEO of Waitt Company, an Omaha based Investment Company with holdings in private and public companies, alternative investments, and real estate. Prior to this, he worked for McCarthy Capital from 1999 through 2011, where he became President and Managing Partner in 2005.

Dana is currently a director on the following corporate boards: Chairman of the board of Vornado Air, a Wichita based manufacturer of premium branded room circulators and steam products for consumers; Chairman of Prince Global Sports LLC, the owner of Prince, Ektelon, and Viking. Prince is a global racquet and footwear leader in the sports of tennis and squash. Ektelon is the leading racquetball equipment company; Chairman of SAFE Boats International, a Seattle based manufacturer of special purpose boats for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Armed Forces, local emergency response agencies, and foreign militaries and governments; Meritage Homes Corp. (NYSE: MTH), one of the larger homebuilders in the nation, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona; Southwest Value Partners, a San Diego based real estate investment company focused on distressed real estate assets and interest bearing notes; and Waitt Company.

Dana is active in the community, currently serving on Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (“MECA”), Children’s Hospital of Omaha; Omaha Chamber of Commerce; Nebraska Innovation Campus Development Corporation, and Aksarben Future Trust, an Omaha based organization tasked with redeveloping community assets.
