Homecoming 2024 Recap

Homecoming '24 at Arizona Beta was another blockbuster celebration of Sig Ep brotherhood at its best, with more than 25 alumni attending from as far away as Delaware, joining the chapter members for a great Friday night dinner ahead of Saturday's UofA Homecoming festivities.

A new annual tradition was also introduced at the dinner--the William R. "Red" Moulinier Brotherly Love Award was presented to the chapter by Brother John A. Stuart, '73, in honor of Brother Moulinier to each year recognize an Arizona Beta brother who has consistently demonstrated brotherly love in the chapter..

"I want to celebrate our fraternity's  cardinal principle that is least recognized but has meant the most to me and probably all Sig Eps from our college experience, brotherly love," said Stuart. "The person who has best exemplfied that in my 50 years as a Sig Ep is Red Moulinier, and I want that spirit to be celebrated in the chapter for many years to come."  John battles Parkinson's Disease and was unable to attend the dinner, but he delivered a video message to the group at the dinner. The beautiful silver "bucket" will be presented annually and remain on permanent display in the chapter house.

Also introduced was a new alumni award which Brother Stuart developed, the A.Perry;Bothe Alumni Founders Award to recognize outstanding alumni reunion organizing activities, with the first presentation going to Mark Slepian,'89, for his efforts to bring together brothers from the '80s in the Phoenix area and beyond for a weekend of golf and celebration every 5 years. The recent reunion was held this November with over 75 brothers attending. Congratulations to Mark and his team for a tremendous event!
