Joe Montana '90

Joe was initiated into Sigma Phi Epsilon in 1986 at NY Kappa chapter and graduated with a BS in Economics/Business from Daemen College in 1990.

He is currently working as Regional VP for SCS Systems.

During his 27 years volunteering with SigEp, Joe has served as Chapter Counselor for the following – University of Buffalo’s chapter (in NY), Tufts University’s chapter (in MA), and Westchester University’s chapter (in PA).

In 2006 through 2011, Joe served as District Governor for AZ and the three chapters in San Diego. While District Governor, much of his time was spent recruiting volunteers to work with AZ Alpha, AZ Beta, AZ Gamma, CA Delta, CA Rho, and CA Beta. The fraternity enjoyed a large growth of alumni/volunteer participation in the district during his term. He was pleased with a number of these volunteers at regional and national conferences. Plus, their support has helped a few of these chapters become Buch Cup (even multiple times) Award winners.

Presently, Joe is serving as the lead to the AZ Beta Mentor Board and AZ Beta’s Chapter Counselor.

He is married to Kim.
